Invitation: An Evening for Democracy on October 20th

Hello! If you're on Democratism's email list, you may have received an invitation like this yesterday. If so, apologies for the duplication. If not, consider adding yourself to Democratism's list. It's not a lot of duplication. Either way ...

Democratism Action and bestselling author Paul Greenberg invite you to An Evening for Democracy this Sunday, October 20th, in Lower Manhattan. Democratism Action’s executive director, David Gold, will speak briefly on the organization's proposal to end the Electoral College and create proportional representation in Congress. Actors Kelly AuCoin (BillionsThe AmericansTurn), Cusi Cram, Peter Hirsch, and Katie Baldwin Eng, together with narrator Bray Poor, will then perform a dramatic reading of Greenberg’s speculative fiction, A Third Term, where George Washington is brought to the present day to challenge a modern tyrant in the 2028 election.
